Attention-deficit disorder (ADD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affect attention, focus, self-control, and emotional regulation in both children and adults.
In children, ADHD may show up as difficulty paying attention, following directions, completing homework, sitting still, or managing frustration. These challenges can impact learning, confidence, and relationships at home and at school.
In teens and adults, symptoms often include trouble staying organized, managing time, completing tasks, regulating emotions, or controlling impulsive behaviors. Adults may also experience restlessness, distractibility, or difficulty maintaining work performance and relationships.
How I help: I provide comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment tailored to each person’s developmental stage, strengths, and needs. Care may include therapy, medication support, or both, with a focus on improving attention, emotional regulation, and everyday functioning.
