MEET THE PROVIDER

Tanika Motley,APRN, PMHNP-BC, MSN, MSW, LCSW (NP Motley)

Hello, I am Tanika Motley, a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Professional Life Coach. With over a decade of experience, I hold dual master’s degrees in Nursing and Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. This unique background allows me to provide comprehensive, integrative care that bridges medical treatment, emotional support, and intentional personal growth.


While I specialize in women’s mental and emotional wellness across the lifespan, my practice is open and welcoming to everyone, including children, teens, and adults. I understand the unique pressures women often face, and I am equally committed to helping young people and men navigate their own challenges. I support individuals and families managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and major life transitions.


I believe every person’s story is meaningful and deserves to be heard. I approach care with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, valued, and empowered. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, thoughtful medication management, and individualized psychotherapy. For those seeking growth beyond a clinical diagnosis, I also offer goal focused life coaching to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and move toward the future you envision.


My therapeutic approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence based practices tailored to your specific goals and needs. I am passionate about making mental health care accessible, reducing stigma, and helping people feel more confident and in control of their lives. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward greater balance, resilience, and a brighter, healthier future.
