GeneSight Testing

Learn More

What is GeneSight Testing?

GeneSight® is a non-invasive genetic test that analyzes how your genes may affect your response to over 60 FDA-approved psychiatric medications, including:

  • Antidepressants
  • Antipsychotics
  • Mood stabilizers
  • ADHD medications
  • Anti-anxiety medications

This test can reveal how your body metabolizes specific medications, helping us understand which treatments may be more effective or more likely to cause side effects.

Ready to take the next steps?

Who can benefit:

Pharmacogenomic testing with GeneSight®  may be especially helpful if you:

  • Have tried multiple psychiatric medications with little success
  • Experience side effects from your current medications
  • Are starting psychiatric treatment for the first time
  • Want a more personalized, data-driven approach to mental health care

How it works?

  • Simple Sample Collection: You collect a quick, painless cheek swab yourself in the comfort of your own home.
  • Lab Analysis: Your sample is then sent to GeneSight’s CLIA-certified laboratory for testing.
  • Personalized Report: In a few days, we receive a detailed report showing how your genetic profile may impact your response to specific psychiatric medications.
  • Customized Treatment Plan: Your provider uses this information to guide medication choices and optimize your treatment plan.
